    Practice & Test:

    Our Two-week intensive exam preparation program is specifically designed for individuals with prior welding experience who are aiming to successfully pass the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) examinations. The program encompasses in-depth knowledge acquisition and skill enhancement focusing on the practical operation of welding equipment and the execution of specific welding operations.

    Learners will be fully guided to meet the evaluation criteria of the CWB, closely adhering to the most current welding standards. The curriculum is meticulously designed to deliver comprehensive, hands-on training, ultimately ensuring that participants are well-equipped to showcase their welding proficiency during the CWB assessment.

     

    Admission Requirements:

     

    Previous experience as a welder is not required.

     

    Duration:

    12 hours, 2 session per week, for 2 weeks.

     

    Class Time:

    Monday and Wednesday : 18:00 pm to 21:00 pm

     

    • CWB Prep Courses:

      *A CWB certification test is NOT included.

       

      Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) CWB Prep

      • Duration: 55 hours (2 weeks)
      • Classes run from Monday to Friday, 9am-2:30pm

      Or:

      Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) CWB Prep

      • Duration: 55 hours (2 weeks)
      • Classes run from Monday to Friday, 9am-2:30pm

      The learning outcome for the theory portion of the GMAW/SMAW CWB Prep course includes W 47.1, W 59, & visual defects.

      The practical portion of the course will include CWB test plate, 1GF (position type can change based upon instructor discretion and current valid CWB tickets) and fitting & fabrication.
